Foam moulds

This technology consists of filling a mould with microcellular polyurethane in the liquid state, which then undergoes a chemical reaction that forces its volume to expand as it comes into contact with the mould.

This type of mould is mainly used to produce:

  • armchair upholstery parts

  • seats and similar items

The many application sectors are:

  • automotive

  • furnishing

The aluminium moulds can be made by casting or from solid block machining depending on the requirements.

Such moulds can also be used to make Latex items including:

  • cushions

  • mattresses
